On this four day tour we visit Bodie a rustic ghost town in Northern California, Lone Pine, The Alabama Hills, the ancient Bristlecone pines, the beautiful tufa towers at Mono Lake, and many other unique subjects along the Mt. Whitney Portal. You will return from this tour with great images and hopefully great stories to go along with them. These are some of the places most visited by Ansel Adams where he created many of his greatest images. There is a little something for everyone on this diverse tour. Bring your digital and film cameras and be inspired by the beauty of the Eastern Sierra Nevada landscape.

Alaska is a vast wilderness where the photographic opportunities are endless. We cover a great deal of ground on this trip, covering a potpourri of some of the best place this state has to offer. We spend time in Denali where we hope to capture staggering landscapes of Mount Denali and the untouched beauty of Denali National Park. If weather permits the possibility of capturing the Aurora Borealis will keep the night owls awake. We spend time on Resurrection Bay where we can get up close to Orca, Sea Otters, Harbor Seals, Puffin, Bald Eagles, Mountain Goats, as well as the Holgate Glacier and the amazing Alaskan coastline. We spend time at Kennecott Mine and Independence Mine, both are pieces of Alaskan history that have endless opportunities for still life, landscape, and macro photography. For many guests the best part of the trip is on Crescent Lake, where we get up close and personal with the Alaskan Brown Bear aka The Grizzly Bear. This is an opportunity not to be missed. For many people this is a once in a lifetime trip. The journey begins in Winnipeg where we will fly to the remote town of Churchill Manitoba located on the southwestern shores of the Hudson Bay. Churchill has been nicknamed the “Polar bear Capital of the World”. We will spend two full days on a tundra buggy where we will have the opportunity to photograph Polar Bears and other arctic wildlife in their natural environment. It is an amazing experience that will take your breath away and leave you awe struck at the beauty of the arctic landscape.

There is nothing more beautiful than Fall in New England. This tour will take you off the beaten path and focuses on the small village towns that dot the eastern landscape. We spend time in places like Colonial Sturbridge Massachusetts, Kennebunk ME, Camden ME, Bar Harbour ME, Acadia National Park, and many other locations along the way. Of course a trip to New England wouldn’t be complete without visiting Martha’s Vineyard. This tour gives the digital and film photographer opportunities to capture iconic images of light houses along the rocky coastline of Maine, the vibrant colors of the fall foliage, and the nostalgia of a simpler time in many of the small villages and towns. New England is a wondrous place filled with history and beauty. The only draw back will be choosing where to point your camera first.
